A small step for mankind, a giant leap for a (wo)man!

The following pictures are 100% genuine and believe it or not, they have not been subjected to image processing or improving techniques.

The unbelievable happened. I have officially given the leap from a person who could only 'cook' pasta pesto and pasta salad with citron pepper, to a person who can cook a much larger range of stuff! Picadillo, Fried Tacos, Mushroom Creme, Stuffed Mushrooms, Berries Tart, Apple Struddel, Sushi, Stuffed Peppers, the swedish Cabbage Salad that i love, you name it!

And hey, now that i am equipped with a brand new tortilla press, the latest challenge overcome: Corn Tortillas!

If people that know me are very surprised.. i am personally shocked! :)

Wonder what will be next..

Catching Up!

Although things (and cool things) kept happening in my life, for some reason i took a break from blogging... cant say what it was, but sometimes you just lose it! I really had a very hard time pulling myself together to write a post.

Anyways, for my personal record, ill write a quick update of the last couple of weeks:

- On Nov 25th, I went to see Kashmir live!! I had longed for that concert for a long time, so even when they didnt play my all-times-favorite, the night was worth the wait! The supporting band was nothing more and nothing less than Oh No Ono, and wow, those kids are good!! :) This concert is definitely a cool addition to my previous list :)

- We spent the first weekend of December in London, of course due to the smart selection of the date, we were there together with thousands of tourists in a Christmas shopping frenzy. It was a short trip, but it was fun! We had time to take the classic pictures, walk around town, eat good stuff, meet some friends, and to our surprise, everything under nice sunny weather!

- On December 13th we took a plane and travelled all the way to Mexico City to spend the holidays there! It was great to see my family and friends again, eat the stuff i miss, speak my language, etc. We had time to spend a week outside the city, so we headed north this time, the tour included: Real de Catorce, Zacatecas, Sierra de Organos, Queretaro and Tequisquiapan. Back to the city, we went to see Lucha Libre (wrestling), visited several old style Cantinas downtown, went shopping, and of course spent Christmas and New Years with my family.

Thats all folks!
