A brand new year

A good night to be out in THE city...

Even though i have lived in Mexico City for 27 years, this is my first picture at the 'Independence Angel'.. and yeah its not a great one... but its 'funny' how youre always fond to explore other countries, other cultures, other places, except your own... or is it only me?

We ended up there on our way back from a party... of course there was a tourist among us so the pictures felt sort of mandatory as that monument is a classic when it comes to Mexico, but i realized how many times i have passed besides it without even looking at it.. and well.. its kinda cool i must say! :p
